Group calls for investment in female students health, donates Pads and other menstrual hygiene products to students

Government and other non governmental organizations have been charged to invest more in female students Health issue especially in boarding schools.

The National Coordinator of Noble Women International, Mrs Julian Mattew made the call at the sensitization seminar organised by the body to Students held at Government Girls College ,Bauchi,

She said young girls need Mesturation and other Hygiene Management.

Mrs Julian Mattew recalled that the Noble Women International was established this year with a purpose to enlighten female particularly in health and education sectors .

She announced the donation of Pad and other necessary materials to the students to manage their Mesturation periods and that of their hygiene.

Also Speaking, the Vice Principal Academic of the school, Hajia Maimuna Danlami applauded the effort of the Noble Women for coming up with the program, describing it as timely.

While calling on the students to make good use of the items given to them ,Maimuna Danlami urged others to emulate the kind gesture.

Some students interviewed Hajara Shamsilliya and Angela Entormer expressed their happiness and promised to utilise the opportunity appropriately.
