Governor Bala pledges synergy with Premium Pensions, assures welfare of pensioners

The Bauchi State Governor Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has today recieved in audience, management of the Premium Pension Limited at the Government House Bauchi.

In a statement signed by Lawal Mu’azu, Special Assistant to the Governor on New Media indicates that the Governor Bala said their visit to Bauchi is a turning point for pension management and human capital development in the state.

He said, his administration will work with them to advance the welfare of pensioners and in tackling leakages in the system.

He thanked the company for promoting good governance and for keying into the Federal Government’s Pension Contributory Scheme.

Governor Bala therefore directed for the inauguration of a committee to work out modalities of implementing pension contributory scheme in the state for the benefit of the state.

Earlier, Chairman of the Premium Pension Limited, Alhaji Ibrahim Alhassan Babayo said the visit is to introduce the company to the governor for mutual partnership between the two parties.

He added that Premium Pension Limited is the third largest pension administrator in Nigeria and promised to support the governor to succeed in pension management.
