Bauchi Speaker congratulates new Head of Civil Service, Permanent Secretaries, commends Governor Bala for introducing merit in appointments

Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly Abubakar Y Suleiman has congratulated Alhaji Yahuza Adamu Haruna on his meritorious appointment as the Head of Civil Service of Bauchi State by Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammad.

A statement signed by the Spoke person to the Speaker Abdul Ahmad Burra revealed.

The Speaker said that Alhaji Yahuza Adamu is a product of commitment to duty, sterling leadership qualities and high level of professionalism whose appointment will further add a lot of value to civil service and governance in Bauchi State.

“The task of remodelling and sanitizing the State Civil Service is enormous and there is need of a versatile civil servant who will re-energize, inspire and lead the daunting task. I am sure with the appointment of this great son of Ningi Local Government, the required leadership and experience to champion the crusade is attained.

“As a former banker, consummate administrator and permanent secretary who established reputation of thoroughbredness, hard-working and patriotism, the new Head of Civil Service will further strengthen the sterling record of the present administration of unprecedented delivery of dividends of democracy to the people of Bauchi State.

While urging him to sustain his established reputation and work diligently for the betterment of the State, the Speaker explained that both him and the new Head of Civil Service are men of destiny as the decades old dreams of Ningi Emirate come true through them.

He commended the Executive Governor of Bauchi State His Excellency Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammad for finding another son of Ningi Emirate worthy of the exalted position, saying there was no time in history that the Emirate is so much valued and placed at its rightful position in the affairs of the State than now thus the people of the Emirate will reciprocate and remain grateful to the Governor.

“I commend Governor Bala for the use of merit and seniority in the appointment of both the Head of Service and the Permanent Secretaries. This will no doubt restore confidence and and zeal in the civil servants. This is indeed exemplary and landmark transformation of civil service.” He added.

The Speaker also congratulated Alhaji Saleh Yakubu Ningi from Ningi Local Government,
Alhaji Sa’idu Abubakar and Mr Nathaniel Muazu from Warji Local Government on their appointment as Permanent Secretaries.

He equally congratulated 17 persons appointed as Permanent Secretaries by the Governor and urged them to reciprocate the gesture by working diligently to ensure good governance keeps thriving in the State.
