The Emir of Zazzau, His Highness, Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, has approved with immediate effect, the appointment of his First Son MALAM ABDULLAHI AHMED BAMALLI as the New WALIN ZAZZAU, a tittle once held by Abdullahi’s Great-Grand Father Late Walin Zazzau Halliru.

Similarly, the Emir has also approved the appointment of Engineer SANI GALADIMA UMAR, a younger brother to Late Walin Zazzau, Engineer Aminu Umar as District Head of Ikara and his representative (Wakilin Walin Zazzau) as the New YARIMAN ZAZZAU.

Abdullahi Ahmed Bamalli’s background as the new Walin Zazzau is truly impressive. With his Educational Qualifications in Software Engineering from Coventry University in the UK and his experience as a Transmission Engineer at companies like Etisalat and an IT officer at the Central Bank of Nigeria, spanning over 13 years of working experience.

Thus, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role.

He is the first son of the current Emir of Zazzau Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, CFR and as such, he is the Grandson of the Late Nuhu Bamalli, Magajin Garin Zazzau who was Nigerian Minister of Foreign Affairs in the First Republic and Grandson of Late Emir Shehu Idris on his maternal side, further highlight his prestigious lineage.

Despite his illustrious background, Abdullahi Ahmed Bamalli remains grounded and focused on serving his community. His position as the Walin Zazzau is a testament to his commitment to upholding tradition, promoting unity, and fostering progress within the Zazzau Emirate.

Additionally, Abdullahi is a family man, being married with one son.

This highlights his dedication to his loved ones and his desire to create a better future for them and the community he serves.

Overall, Abdullahi Ahmed Bamalli’s appointment as the new Walin Zazzau is a blend of tradition, expertise, and a strong sense of community. His diverse experiences and commitment to service make him a promising leader for the Zazzau Emirate.

The title of Walin Zazzau is the Third of the titles held by Princes in Zazzau Emirate after that of Madaki and Magajin Gari.

The date for the turbanning of New Wali and Yariman Zazzau will be made public later.
