Vote for Tinubu, Shettima, vote for unity of Nigeria, says Bagudu

Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu says a vote for APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima is a vote for the unity of Nigeria.

“I am therefore appealing to the people of the state to massively vote for Tinubu and Shettima, APC gubernatorial candidate, Dr Nasiru Idris,Kauran Gwandu and his deputy.

“Doing so will help to consolidate the current laudable achivevemts of President Muhammadu Buhari, myself and all APC elected representatives, as well as appointees, he added .

The Chairman of the APC Governors’ Forum, spoke on Wednesday when he and the DG, campaign council, former Governor of the state, Alhaji Sa’idu Nasamu Dakingari, led the APC campaign train to the Palace of the District Head of Gwandu, Sarkin Gabas, Alhaji Zayyanu Bello Haruna Rasheed on a courtesy call.

According to Bagudu, Tinubu was a consensus candidate, with a view to further the unity, cohesiveness and socioeconomic prosperity of Nigeria.

Bagudu described Tinubu and Shettima as tested and trusted experienced technocrats who would not fail Nigerians, if elected.

The Kebbi State Governor also described the APC gubernatorial candidate and his running mate as indefatigable and esteem former public servants who would not fail the people of the state.

“I have the strongest belief that the duo will emulate my administration and that of my predecessor, the DG, campaign council, Alhaji Saidu Nasamu Dakingari and even surpass all what we did,”Bagudu said.

Also speaking at the Palace, the APC gubernatorial candidate, Dr Nasiru Idris, Kauran Gwandu described the visit as a home coming.

“A precedence has been set to the effect that prayers from this all-important palace are always pungent and so we are here to pay our respect and seek such fervent prayers,”he added.

He urged people to collect their PVCs and vote for Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all APC candidates for sustained development in the State.

Responding, Magajin Gari, Alhaji Attahiru who represented the District Head of Gwandu, appreciated the governor and pledge the support the people of Gwandu for APC gubernatorial candidate, Dr Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu and all APC candidates.

Addressing thousands of APC members in Gwandu, headquarters of Gwandu Local Government in continuation of APC campaign across the state in preparation of the 2023 general elections, Bagudu lauded the people of Gwandu for coming out en masse to receive them and witness the event.

“I am therefore calling on you to replicate this noble gesture during the polls and massively vote for all APC candidates top to bottom.

“Gwandu is the home of APC and we are not harbouring any fear about all of you casting all your votes for APC, “he added.

While conveying a similar messsge from President Muhammadu Buhari, Bagudu admonished them to get their PVCs.

The Governor further described Kauran Gwandu and his running mate as renowned technocrats whose penchant for hard work, piety, patriotism and commitment knows no bound.

Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu who is the APC candidate for Kebbi Central Senatorial seat, appealed to the party’s supporters to equally vote for Mohammadu Umar Jega the candidate for the House of Representatives for Jega, Gwandu, Aliero constituency, whose candidature was affirmed by the supreme court as well as Hon. Atiku Bello Kurya who is contesting for the Kebbi State House of Assembly, Gwandu constituency.

The APC Progressives Governors’ Forum Chairman, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu also promised that additional township roads in Gwandu would be constructed .

Also speaking, the APC gubernatorial candidate, Dr. Nasir Idris ,Kauran Gwandu said that their visit was not for campaign, but home coming to seek for blessing.

Dr Nasir Idris also said that APC was still the party to beat, saying, “nobody should deceive you. ”

He vowed not to fail the people of the state, if given the mandate to lead.

Other speakers at the campaign rally the DG APC Campaign Council, former Governor Sa’idu Usman Nasamu Dakingari, DG campaign Council, the State APC Chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Muhammad Kana Zuru, the Chairman, APC Elders’ Forum, Alhaji Sani Hukuma Zauro, Zannan Gwandu, the APC Chairman, Gwandu Local Government, Alhaji Mamuda Gwandu and Alhaji Atiku Culture .

Earlier before arriving at the campaign venue in Gwandu, the APC campaign train visited Dalijan and Kambaza to garner for support to all APC candidates.
