The Senator representing Katsina North Ahmad Babba Kaita has continued his moves to take over the political leadtership of the zone with the recent acquisition of President Muhammadu Buhari’s first-ever campaign office in Daura.

In a telephone interview with Albarka Radio the media aide to the senator Malam Abdulkadir Lawal confirmed that the campaign office located in the heart of Daura, the president’s hometown, was acquired by The Buhari Organisation in 2002 when he joined the All People’s Party and contested the number one seat for the first time in 2003.

He said his boss and the House of Representatives members representing President Buhari at the National Assembly are no longer members of the ruling party and as such the party will soon vacate the office.

The office, according to Malam Abdulkadir Lawal was used by the APC until last week when Senator Ahmad Baba Kaita bought the property from its owners.

The office also served as a rendezvous for several APC members including top executive members of the party in Daura.
