NATIONAL CONVENTION: APC appoints Bauchi Speaker into planning committee

The Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee of the All Progressive Congress has approved the appointment of the Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Abubakar Y Suleiman into Planning Subcommittee for the Party’s National Convention which is scheduled to take place on 26th March, 2020.

In a statement signed by the National Secretary of the APC CECPC Sen. John James Akpanudoedehe, the Speaker will serve as member of the Accreditation Committee.

The Accreditation Committee which is mandated to accredit all candidates contesting for various offices of the Party’s National Working Committee, has Deputy Senate President Senator Ovie Omo-Agege as Chairman, the Bauchi Speaker who is also the Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria and other 39 persons as members.

The March 26 Convention is expected to produce new National Chairman and other national officers of the Party.
