Kebbi APC urges supporters to vote massively for its guber candidate, Kaura Gwandu

The All Progressives Congress, APC in Kebbi state has expressed immense appreciation to its teeming supporters and other people in the state for voting massively for the party in last Saturday’s presidential election that facilitated the victory of its presidential flag-bearer, Asiwaju Bola Ahmad Tinubu as the President-elect of Nigeria.

The State Public Relations Officer, PRO, Alhaji Isah Assalafi made the commendation this Wednesday at a Press briefing in Birnin Kebbi .

Alhaji Isah Assalafi acknowledged that although the APC has lost some seats of the Senate and House of Representatives, to the opposition, the outcome did not in any way affect the strength of the party but galvanized and encouraged its resolve to clinch the governorship position in the March 11 Gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections.

The PRO urged the people of Kebbi State to troop out en masse to vote for the APC governorship candidate, Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu and all candidates of the party to the state house of assembly.

‘ I urge our supporters and people of Kebbi State to come out and vote massively for our gubernatorial candidate, Dr Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu ‘, he appealed.

On the outcome of the Kebbi Central Senatorial election, Alhaji Isah Assalafi made it clear that the APC has grievances on the election result of which it would pursue the course of justice after the gathering of necessary facts and evidence.

He said the party would also require INEC to expedite action on addressing the inconclusive election of the Senate for Kebbi North as well as those for the House of Representatives for Dandi/Arewa Federal Constituency and Koko-Besse/Maiyama Federal Constituency where the three candidates of the party were heading to victory.

The APC spokesman thanked the people of Kebbi State for maintaining peace, law and order before, during and after the entire process of last Saturday’s election that paved the way for conducive environment and peaceful conduct of the polls.

Alhaji Isah Assalafi, urged the people to maintain the tempo in the gubernatorial and state assembly elections on the eleventh of this month towards ensuring absolute victory for the APC.
