Gov. Buni attends mega rally of COYOPA in Damaturu

The Executive Governor of Yobe State Hon Mai Mala Buni CON (Chiroman Gujba) has attended the mega rally organized by coliation of APC Youths political organizations YOCOPA in 27 August stadium Damaturu.

The Governor was represented by his Deputy Hon Idi Barde Gubana ( Wazirin Fune) in company of the Speaker Yobe state House of assembly, APC state executives and secretary to the state government .

The Governor expressed gratitude and hope that youths in the state are ready for the 2023 general elections.

He warned the teaming youths to avoid any act of violence in the state during the campaign and elections.

He said Governor Buni is passionate about the affairs of youths, he has fulfilled all the promises made during electioneering campaign by empowering the powerless youths with appointments across the state.

He commended the organizers of the mega rally for their support to the present administration and uniting the political organization for a purpose.

In their separate remarks, the APC vice Chairman Zone A, Alh Mustapha Gaidam and special adviser on political and legislative matters Hon Aji Yerima Bularafa stressed the need for creating awareness on the new voting system introduced by INEC.

They also urged the political groups in the state to desist from involving themselves in activities that would undermine the party. They also advised the political groups to vote APC from top to bottom.

Also speaking, the convener of the mega rally and Chairman of the coalition, Hon Babagana Alh. Modu Bature Goniri noted that the purpose of the rally is to endorse and reaffirm their support to the candidature of Governor Mai Mala Buni and his Deputy Hon Idi Barde and other APC candidates by all political organizations in the state.

The guest speaker and coordinator North East Development Commission NEDC, Prof. Ali Ibrahim Abbas said youths in the state would forever remain grateful to the present administration under the leadership of Hon Mai Mala Buni for his concern in uniting and uplifting youths for the development of the state.

The Deputy Governor recieved hundreds of decampees from PDP to APC from Goniri, Gujba and nayinawa in Damaturu.

The rally was attended by over two hundred groups and associations from 17 Local Government areas of the state.
