COURT JUDGEMENT: Adamawa Women protects Binani’s disqualification

A Progressive young women forum of Adamawa state has demonstrated peaceful protest to show their solidarity over the recent concluded court judgment that disqualified the APC candidate in the forthcoming governorship elections.

The peaceful protest started from the entrance of Jabbama Gate to the Yola south all progressive congress secretariats in Yola.

The leader of the forum Hajiya Hadiza Ahmed Abdurrahman represented by Hajiya Fadimatu Yunusa said that progressive young women forum shows their displeasure over the recent federal high court judgment.

She said that all the women of Yola south are collectively not happy with the disqualification of the party and the gubernatorial candidate.

The forum said that Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed Binani has done well to the people of her constituency when she was at the house of representative and now that she is in the senate.

The chairman of the party in Yola South Alhaji Usman Manujo who was been represented by the party secretary Alhaji Muhammed Bello Aminu said as party members they have also feel graved over the court judgment but they are not relenting towards seeing that they have got what was taking form them in an appropriate way.

He commended the forum for their support and assured them that the party in the state is doing all it can to ensure that it participated in the 2023 polls.

The secretary therefore, advised the electorate to stop burning their voter cards, saying it is the only tools that will help them to produce the candidates.
