The National Executive council of an independent security organization The Nigeria Neighborhood Watch security have approved the immediate suspension of it Bauchi State Commandant Yakubu Sa’ad for what it termed as “Insubordination”.
The Organization also with immediate effects announced the appointment of Aliyu Bature Ahmad as acting state Commandant Bauchi State.
The new Commandant has since toke oth of office during a brief ceremony held at the state Secretariat Bauchi and vowed to address the leadership challenges bordering the state council.
In an interview with Newsmen Aliyu Bature Ahmad explained that the decision wake taken to safeguard the virtue of the organization and to protect it goal of community policing as proscribed by the constitution.
Aliyu Bature Ahmad urged the operatives to put in their best to secure local communities by reporting early warning signs for swift security intervention, adding that it is the state’s desire to create a conducive working atmosphere for every citizen to carry out their lawful business.
The commandant cautioned the members stating that his administration will not allow indiscipline and unprofessional conduct and charged them to treat matters of security and safeguarding the lives and properties of citizens with the utmost importance.
