It was a moment of jubilating victory to true son of the soil, an elite who has been working tirelessly to uplift People Democratic Party (PDP) in Bauchi State. After the party’s State Congress, contestants from different angles of the State emerged as Executives that will steer the affairs of the party in Bauchi and other zones. The Speaker, Bauchi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Abubakar Y Suleiman (Ɗangaladiman Ningi) attended a special event organised primarily to celebrate the new Financial Secretary of PDP in Bauchi, Alhaji Garba Yabubu Mundamiyo.
People from all works of life in the State capital and Local Government where Alh. Garba Mundamiyo emanated from were at Zaranda Hotel honoring the loyalty, hardwork and sacrifices made for decades by the celebrant. Many that were given chance to talk have extolled good attributes of Alh. Garba, his services to humanity and the party in the State were worthy of emulation. Such rare gem is endowed beyond measure as trustworthy individual who prefers to sleep with hunger than to buy food with fund entrusted to him.
Addressing the gathering, Rt. Hon. Dr. Abubakar Y. Suleiman welcomed all at the event, he revealed that they were there to congratulate brother Garba Mundamiyo over the position he recently gotten in PDP, also to offer some advices as well as pray for him to keep on progressing. “High number of people have spoken, almost each that rose spoke about kindness of the celebrant but to me the three key qualities that made him successful in the past and present are honesty, trustworthiness and obidience. Believe me that sticking to these three attributes by people that want to pursue politics, sky will be the limit but to me sky will always be the starting point “. The Speaker explained.
He emphasized that “it is of paramount importance upon all to be emulating these three virtues, looking at the crowd that gathered as audience and those on high table ranging from the Legislature, Executive, Judiciary, party officials, Local Government Areas, women and youth in Bauchi State because of the good human relations of Garba Mundamiyo. Responsible person or groups that wish to succeed like Garba Mundamiyo need to adopt honesty, trust and obidience. I am therefore urging you as a friend to maintain these habits, by doing so, only God knows far you will go, “. Rt. Hon. Suleiman jokingly said that he was jealous of the pampering and people garnered to felicitate with the celebrant.
In conclusion, the Speaker wished Alhaji Garba Yakubu Mundamiyo and all other new executives of People Democratic Party (PDP) in Bauchi nothing but success. He stated that Alkaleri was unable to present 100% votes during the recently concluded elections but Ningi have done that, the crowd promised never to vote even a councilor from any party than PDP. He then assured them that Garba Mundamiyo would do the needful by resolving problems experienced while uniting stakeholders and members.
The Speaker finally praised Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed (Ƙauran Bauchi) for the welfarism of people, good leadership and provision of transformative projects everywhere in the State, he prayed for Allah to grant him higher position after his tenure elapse. “Governor Bala Mohammad has made Bauchi far better than the way he found it, we have seen different Governors, I have no iota of doubt that there is no single Bauchi Governor who has done what Governor Bala is doing. People should go to Ningi in order to clarify my statement, we are all very proud of him and his legacies”. The Speaker concluded.
