Although I am known as the staunch supporter of Atiku Abubakar to be president, but we lost the presidential election. Therefore, we should put Nigeria first, national interest to supercede our personal interests.
Moreover, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on his election as the incoming president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria following the announcement by the independent National Electoral Commission. May Allah guide him to success.
The election results demonstrate that the unity of the country will be a major challenge for the new administration. The president should focus on getting the resources to work for the people from every angle of the country.
Now that election is over, he should forget about anything that this religion or this tribe is against me, and put the country on the track of development.
Another challenge Tunibu’s administration will experience and needs to handle is to deal with a weak economy as well as a security issues in the country’s northern and southern regions, more specifically in the northwestern, north central, and south eastern regions.
The country of Nigeria has a significant amount of internal and external debt, which the incoming president must handle in order to prevent further stagnation and rising inflation.
Nigeria’s economy is stagnant because the export of the nation, which solely depends on oil revenue, is a problem. The export will be greatly aided by diversifying the economy, increasing crude oil production and ensuring that oil discovered in the north will begin to be exported. Remove the oil subsidy and make sure to increase import subsidies in other areas of the economy.
