Mammoth crowd attend Kebbi APC campaign rally in Yauri

A mammoth crowd of APC members and supporters attended the flag off of Zonal campaign rally, Kebbi South in Yauri .

Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu said at the campaign gathering that APC remained option for Nigerians.

Amid the cheering crowd of hundreds of party members, governor Bagudu said that his conviction was premised on the fair manner the party’s candidates emerged sequel to transparent and open processes.

According to the APC Governors’ Forum Chairman, this was particularly so for the manner APC’s presidential candidate and his running mate, as well as the state governorship candidate and his running mate emerged .

He said that APC and its leaders were always just and open-minded unlike some of the egocentric and unpatriotic former members who left the party and imposed themselves as candidates and intimidated their perceived weaker party members.

Bagudu maintained that the APC-led Federal Government under President Muhammadu Buhari and the Kebbi State Government had performed creditably well in the last seven years.

He said that this was evident in the array of infrastructural development dotting the entire landscape of the zone and the state in general.

The Kebbi State Governor appealed to the people of the state to vote for APC candidates at all levels to ensure continuity.

Bagudu assured the people of the state that the APC gubernatorial candidate, Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu and his running mate, Senator Umar Abubakar Tafidan Kabi in the state would build upon the legacy of the ruling APC if elected.

He hoped that the Kauran Gwandu-led administration would surpass his achievements and take the state to greater heights.

Bagudu acknowledged the sustained support of the people of the state to the federal government and his administration,urging them not to relent in doing so.

Earlier, Alhaji Yusuf Alhassan Yauri, Chairman of APC, Yauri Local Government expressed delight with the mammoth crowd of APC members and supporters that attended the Zonal Kebbi South campaign rally in Yauri local Government.

He appreciated President Muhammadu Buhari and Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu CON, Kebbi State Governor for the massive infrastructural development in the entire Yauri Emirate particularly the road construction and electricity supply which has eluded the Emirate for many years.

Yauri happily announced the defection of some politicians from PRP and PDP to the ruling APC.

The State APC Chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Muhammad Kana Zuru told the mammoth crowd that APC in Kebbi State remained one united strong family.

Kana assured APC members of good tidings would ppcome their way soon that would put smiles in their faces.

He said the incumbent administration of Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, CON has recorded significant development in all the 21 LGAs of the state.

The State APC Chairman, Abubakar Kana Zuru refuted allegations that the party was responsible for the banditry in some areas of the state.

He called on the people of the State not to be deceived and vote for all the APC candidates from top to bottom in the 2023 general elections.

Hajiya Aishatu Gunabi, the State APC Women leader, Alhaji Sadiq Yelwa, the Managing Director of HYPPADEC expressed their appreciation and commendation for the myriad of developmental projects executed by Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu in various parts of the State .

Gunabi extolled Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, CON for executing projects that have direct bearing on people particularly youths and women empowerment.

Alhaji Sadiq Yelwa assured the Kebbi APC gubernatorial candidate, Dr. Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu and all APC candidates of their votes.

In the same vein, Hon Bello Dantani, Magajin Rafin Kabi, former Deputy Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Gari Malam, all expressed confidence with the candidature of Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu as the next governor of Kebbi State.

They expressed optimism that all APC candidates would emerge victorious in the 2023 general elections.

The Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Babale Umar Yauri, mni also lauded Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu for giving Yauri Emirate special attention in the area of industrialization.

He emphasized that such commendable efforts generated job opportunities for hundreds of young men and women in the Emirate.

The SSG cited the establishment of a Tomato Plant and the Anchor Borrowers Program as major investment drive of the Bagudu-led administration in the area.

He assured the governor that in the 2023 elections, the entire Yauri Emirate would deliver their votes one hundred per cent to the APC gubernatorial candidate, Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu and all APC candidates.

Rtd General Muhammadu Magoro and Alhaji Sani Hukuma Zauro, who are all elders of the party in the state urged people to vote wisely and cast their votes to all APC candidates.

Magoro particularly urged the electorate to ensure that they have collected their PVCs.

On his part, the APC gubernatorial candidate, Dr Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu and his running mate, Senator Abubakar Umar Tafida, appreciated the support of APC members and the giant strides of Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu in his quest to develop the state .

The APC gubernatorial candidate further promised to consolidate on the achievements of Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu in the provision of quality healthcare delivery to the people, education, water supply and all the sectors of human development.

He also promised to make security one of his priority areas to ensure the sustainance of peace so that farmers could go to their farms without fear of molestation.

The Kebbi APC campaign DG, Alhaji Saidu Nasamu Dakingari, former Governor of the State in his remarks drummed support for the party’s gubernatorial candidate, Dr Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu and all the APC candidates.

Dakingari described the Party ‘s outing in Yauri as a success with the unprecedented crowd that attended the rally as a testimony.

He averred ” considering the fact that this large gathering is only a zonal campaign rally for Kebbi North but not for the entire state it is a success.

” This large gathering is not for the entire state ,it is only for Kebbi South campaign rally in Yauri.”

The campaign DG pointed out that the various developmental as well as empowerment initiatives of APC under President Muhammadu Buhari and Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu had drastically reduced poverty in Kebbi State and the country.

” There is no poverty in Kebbi State, there is abundant food and work to do unless if you are lazy ‘, he emphasized.

The Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, SAN while calling on the people to vote for APC at all levels, urged them not to forget the efforts of President Buhari and Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu particularly in agriculture towards achieving food security for Nigeria.

He explained that President Muhammadu Buhari and Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu have changed the hitherto negative narrative by making Nigeria to stop importing rice to becoming a rice exporter .

He also cited some infrastructural developments carried out by Buhari and Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, appointments of some Kebbi indigenes at federal level and the need to vote for both Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the next President and Dr. Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu as the next governor of Kebbi State.

Hon. Dr. Tanko Yusuf Sununu, member representing Yauri/Ngaski/Shanga and Dr. Hussaini Kangiwa, APC Senatorial candidate, Kebbi North, all delivered goodwill messages and called on the people to vote for APC in 2023 elections.

The APC entourage led by governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu after the campaign rally paid courtesy visit to the Emir of Yauri in his palace, Dr Muhammad Zayyanu Abdullahi to introduce the APC gubernatorial candidate, Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu and seek for his fatherly blessings.

In attendance at the Zonal APC campaign rally in Yauri, were the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, SAN, Deputy Governor Kebbi State, Col Samaila Yombe Dabai Mni, former Kebbi State governor, Alhaji Saidu Usman Nasamu Dakingari who is Kebbi State APC DG campaign together with his council, APC Gubernatorial candidate, Dr. Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu) Dep. Campaign DG, Gen. Muhammad Magoro, SSG, Babale Umar Yauri Mni, National and State Assembly members led by the Speaker, Rt Hon. Muhammad Sani Abubakar Lolo, Commissioners, Special Advisers, APC State Chairman, Alhaji. Abubakar Kana Zuru, local Government Council Chairmen and other important personalities.
