‘Obidients’ Poised To Mount One Million Peaceful Rally In Bauchi

Supporters of Peter Obi, the Labour Party Presidential Standard Bearer said they are set to mount a ‘one million march’ peaceful rally in Bauchi State come October 1st, 2022.

In a chat with our correspondent, the Head of the campaign media team, Edeh Benjamin, assured residents of maximum security, as all arrangements have been concluded for the success of the rally.

He called on all citizens who are tired and fed up with the happening within the country to ’embrace patriotic spirit in obident to the pledge of our national anthem as we bond in freedom to create a change in the change’.

Recall that similar rally had been taking place in various states in the country including the closest to Bauchi, Plateau State, where mahmooth crowd turned out in support of the ‘Obi’ movement.

The Head of the campaign media team said that, “the peaceful rally will start from multi-purpose hall Wunti and end at AYM Shafa roundabout Dass road Bauchi.

In 2023 election, Peter Obi of Labour Party and his running mate, Dr Yusuf Datti Baba Ahmed, would be challenging Atiku of Peoples Democratic Party, Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) among others.
