Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya is upbeat that the All Progressives Congress, APC will win the forthcoming general election in the state and the country with a landslide merging given its incredible performance and acceptability at the national and sub national levels.
Governor Inuwa Yahaya stated this at the Pantami Township Stadium while addressing APC chieftains, among them the National Chairman of the party and thousands of supporters at the flag-off of the Gombe State APC campaign rally.
The Governor explained that the APC administration in Gombe State has substantially delivered on its campaign promises which so far led to the construction of hundreds of kilometers of roads across the State, the provision of quality and affordable health care services, quality education to the people and putting the State on the path of sustainable economic development among others.
He said in addition to the incredible performance of the APC administration in the state, the structural formation of the party is further strengthened through the massive decamping of some notable PDP stalwarts and their supporters to its fold.
This development , as explained by Governor Inuwa Yahaya, is not only an indication that the APC is doing well but that the people are satisfied with the party’s political philosophy, hence the record number of decampees from other parties.
“I want to assure you Mr National Chairman that we have delivered on our mandate and the ordinary people in the state are happy with us and we are confident that we shall suppass our last outing at the polls. Sen. Adamu commended Governor Inuwa Yahaya for displaying uncommon leadership qualities in the formulation and implementation of polices that have meaningful impact on the lives of the people of the state.
The APC National Chairman expressed confident that the party will perform excellently in the forthcoming election at all levels.
