Zazzau Emirate gets new council Secretary

In line with the Kaduna Government Law of Traditional Institution Section 13 (1) of 2021, in a Letter signed by Ya’u Yunusa Tanko on behalf of the Chairman Kaduna State Local Government Service Board, the State Government has approved the appointment of Malam YUSUF ABUBAKAR HAYAT as the new SECRETARY, ZAZZAU EMIRATE COUNCIL.

Aged 46, Malam Yusuf Abubakar Hayat took over from Alhaji Musa Bara’u Aliyu Sarkin Fulanin Zazzau.

The new Secretary has over 19 years working experience with both Public and Private Sector. He started his working Career with Nigeria Security & Civil Defence Corps (2003-2004) were he served as Accounting officer. Between 2004-2006 he was with FSB International Bank Plc as Relationship Officer.
Malam Yusuf has worked with Fidelity Bank between 2006-2008 as Relationship Manager. He was with Ocenic Bank Int’l Plc between 2008-2009 also as Relationship Manager.
The new Secretary worked with Premium Poultry Farms Ltd between Jan. 2012-Dec.2012 as Manager Admin. & Finance and also between 2014-2016 he was with Growth & Employment In States (GEMS3/DFID) as State Tax Intervention Coordinator.

Malam Yusuf Abubakar Hayat, a Graduate of Accounting from Bayero University, Kano is happily married with children.
