“We are committed to doing more to our people”, says Ningi Chairman

The executive chairman Ningi Local Government Council, Hon. Mahmuda Hassan Tabla, has reassured his commitment in bringing more economic, socio-cultural, educational and infrastructural developments to the people of the local government.

Tabla, was speaking when he received award of honor as the best chairman in Ningi conferred on him by the Bauchi Law Students Association of Nigeria (BAULASAN), earlier today.

The chairman, said among other things he tasked himself to do as the elected chairman, was to carry all and sundry along, that’s why his empowerment gestures cut across all genders, tribes and religions.

He therefore, said, he has been able to secure admissions to indigenes of Ningi, pay their tuition fees, and provide them with equipments to study hard.

The chairman added that, among his achievements are the construction of Tabla hospital, procuring and renovating thousands of handpumps and boreholes as well as drainages in and outside the local government headquarters.

While presenting the award, the National President, BAULASAN, Hamza Isah together with Habib Muhammad Chadi and Rabiu Abubakar Maikafi expressed their satisfaction with the giant strides of the chairman, which according to them speak for themselves.

The award, was tagged “The Best Chairman in Bauchi State”, was given to Hon. Mahmud, because of his immense support to teaming youths, students and women.

Present during the occasion, were bunch of supporters, law students across varsities, Darazo LGA Chairman, among others.
