VP Osibanjo commends Governor Bala for generosity and humility

Nigeria’s Vice President, Professor Yemi Osibanjo, has described Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State, as a thoughtful man of integrity with sense of humility and generosity.

Osibanjo was speaking at the Katagum Emir’s palace in Azare, Bauchi State, shortly after the wedding Fatiha of daughter of Nigeria’s minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu.

According to the VP, Governor Bala’s magnanimity and dedication to rebuilding Bauchi State is commendable adding that the governor is an amazing and exemplary leader.

Responding, Governor Bala appreciated the Vice President for honoring the invitation to the wedding saying that the State Government will continue to support and welcome the Federal Government’s poverty alleviation programs.

He added that Bauchi is proud of the Education Minister for his outstanding performance calling the bride, Barrister Fatima Zahra to imbibe her father’s endurance and devotion.

Governor Bala while congratulating the families prayed for the couple to live peacefully with one another saying that marriage is an act of worship.

In attendance were the President of the 9th Senate, Ahmed Lawal, governors of Borno, Yobe, Plateau and Jigawa states.

Others are Ministers of Communication and Digital Economy Isa Ali Pantami, Information and Culture Alhaji Lai Muhammed and that of State for Education Emeka Nwajioba, politicians and top government officials and former governors.
