:Says he is ready to sacrifice his energy, resources for governor’s 2023 victory

The newly appointed Caretaker Committee Chairman of Katagum Local Government Area of the State, Honourable Umar Hassan on Saturday evening promised to work hand in hand with all the stakeholders of the council for the rapid development of the area.

Umar Hassan who was speaking at the handing over ceremony held at the premises of the Secretariat, promised to operate an open door policy to enable him succeed.

The caretaker chairman declared his readiness to work in active synergy with the state government and other agencies in a bid to enhance healthcare, education delivery and ensure improvement in other sectors of human survival.

Addressing mammoth crowd of supporters shortly after the handing over, Umar Hassan donated 2 brand new vehicles to supporters of Governor Bala Mohammed in appreciation of their support to PDP led administration.

“First, let me express my profound appreciation and gratitude to my father, His Excellency, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, the Executive Governor of Bauchi State for finding me worthy to be his representative in Katagum.

“My appointment as Caretaker Committee Chairman is no doubt a huge blessing to me and therefore I am ready to sacrifice whatever I have to campaign for the victory of our Governor in his reelection bid in 2023 governorship election in Bauchi State. Katagum is for Governor Bala Mohammed.”

The caretaker chairman who solicited for synergy and understanding among all the stakeholders of the local government for PDP’s victory in the forthcoming general elections, called on voters to obtain their voters cards to enable them participate fully in the electoral process.

While handing over the affairs of the Local Government to the caretaker chairman, the Head of Administration, Ibrahim Hassan Jahun assured of the support and cooperation of the entire workers to enable him succeed in the delivery of devidends of democracy.
