Here is a young man with a humane character donating his money, time and reputation to make a difference in the lives of others especially the orphans and most vulnerable in the society.

Hon. Yazeed Shehu Danfulani in his generosity is presently sponsoring over 1,000 orphans in their educational persuit from primary to tertiary level. He also built a house well equipped with furnitures and foodstuffs for a blind woman who was sleeping in a cage due to lack of shelter and he also built another house for an aged person whose house was burnt by an inferno in Tsafe Local Government.

The Turaki of Zamfara donated 2 Million Naira cash for the repairs of 2 transformers each in Unguwar Shado and Janyau ta gabas areas of Gusau. He bought a new transformer for the people of Zawiyya area who have been in blackout for sometime. He constructed a bridge for the people of Unguwar Mallam Wakkala. His foundation built a new mosque in one village of Tsafe.

Garkuwan Matasa paid for school fees, uniforms, writing materials etc for 60 pupils who are orphans in Karazau village. All these philanthropic achievements that I highlighted were achieved within two months.

Lamido of Tsafe has been doing similar things since before joining politics. If you are reading this, kindly check the Commissioner’s track records in supporting the orphans, less privileged and downtrodden people in the society.

To me, he holds a high esteem as a leading commissioner in the present administration of His Excellency, Governor Bello Matawalle. Also commendable is Governor Matawalle’s foresight in appointing this youthful and energetic young man at this critical time of different challenges in our dear state of Zamfara.

Lastly, May Allah (SWT) continue to give him more health, wealth, wisdom and protection against the hazards of leadership, Aameen.

Abdulwali Anwar Tahir is the Senior Special Assistant on New Media to Governor Bello Matawalle.

By Usman Abdullahi Koli Greatness is never loud. It does not announce itself with drums or decorate its path with banners. It builds, it gives, it heals, and it walks away quietly, leaving only the sound of impact behind. This is the spirit carried by the Wunti Alkhair Foundation, a vision founded and driven by […]

By Usman Abdullahi Koli, ANIPR It often begins in silence, the kind of silence that follows suffering, that surrounds forgotten people and places. Then, one day, someone listens. Someone hears the unheard cries and decides to act. Not for praise. Not for politics. Just for people. That is how the Wunti Al-Khair Foundation was born […]
