Special Advisers’ Forum is to up scale Kauran Gwandu’s empowerment programme with N20 million.

An unanimous resolution has been adopted by the Kebbi State Forum of Special Advisers to donate more than twenty million naira in support of the empowerment programme of Governor Nasir Idris to the people of the State.

This is the major outcome of a one day meeting of the Special Advisers to Kebbi State Governor held this Saturday at the Conference Hall, Cabinet Office, Birnin Kebbi.

The Forum, under the leadership of the Chairman, Kebbi State Special Advisers Forum, KSSAF, Alhaji Kabir Sani Giant, upheld that the gesture was in consonance with the policy thrust of Governor, Comrade, Dr. Nasir Idris for collective leadership to mitigate the present economic hardship among the populace.

This is aimed at bringing succour to the people, reduce poverty and support many families as well as empower men and women to engage in commercial activities especially during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

The Special Advisers constituted 11- member committee to determine the number of beneficiaries from all the 21 local Government Areas of Kebbi State, category of beneficiaries and amount to be disbursed to each person.

The Chairman of the forum ,Alhaji Kabiru Sani Giant expressed delight about the decision and unity of purpose of the members in their support and loyalty to the Kauran Gwandu led administration.

Giant reiterated the unflinching support of the Special Advisers to Governor, Comrade, Dr. Nasir Idris to achieving good governance and uplifting the general wellbeing of the people.

‘ I want to tell you with full confidence that the governor is proud of us and he is watching with keen interest what we are doing to support his development strides in Kebbi State.

‘ What we have set out to do is in line with his empowerment agenda to reduce poverty and assist people particularly the masses in the society ‘, he assured

He thanked the governor for affording the Special Advisers an opportunity to serve the people.

Other matters discussed at the meeting include mutual deductions as ratified by all members and substitution of some executive members.
