Members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) deployed to Kebbi state have been urged to uphold high sense of discipline, tolerance and proper understanding of the orientation course.
The state coordinator National youth service Corps NYSC Kebbi state, Mrs Okolo Agatha Banki disclose this during the swearing in ceremony of Batch A stream 2 corps members at Dakin Gari orientation Camp in Kebbi state.
Mrs Okolo Agatha said a total number of 1,123 corps members have been duly registered and already commenced orientation course.
The state Coordinator used the medium to highlight some of the challenges facing the camp, while soliciting the support of Kebbi state government to complete the male hostel 4 which according to her will increase the capacity of the corps members in the orientation Camp.
She therefore enjoined the corps members to obey all the rules and regulations, respect camp officials and all other constituted authorities.
In his address, the Kebbi state Governor Alh Atiku Abubakar Bagudu said the state government is doing all it can to improve the welfare of the members of the youth service Corps.
The Governor who was represented by the Chairman Jega Local Governments Alh Murtala Musa Habib Jega charged the corps members to shun all forms of drugs abuse, cultism, corruption and other all form of social vices that will destroy the country, while wishing them for the successful service year.
