Ramadan: Welfarist Governor Bala Muhammad donates food stuff worth Millions of Naira to NUJ, Kaura Singers and Bloggers.

Governor Bala Muhammad Abdulkadir of Bauchi State has donated over one thousand bags of food stuffs to Journalists, Singers as well as social media bloggers in the state.

Presenting the items on behalf of the Governor, by his special Adviser Media and Publicity Comrade Mukhtar Muhammad Gidado said the gesture was in appreciation of their various contributions toward propagating policies and programs of the Government.

Comrade Gidado added that it has become a tradition of the Governor to engage with the media and related family especially during festive periods and urged the beneficiaries to accept the gift as a gesture aimed at strengthening partnership with journalists in the state.

Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ State Chairman Comrade Umar Sa’id who was represented by Malam Isyaka Isma’il Wunti expressed gratitude to the state government for the gesture, saying the gift will go a long way to enrich the meals of his members as Ramadan fasting is fast ending.

The donated food stuff comprises 400 bags of rice, 400 bags of Millet, 400 bags of Maize and 170 bags of Sugar.
