PDP YOUTH SUMMIT: Governor Bala urges youth to come up with strategies to move the party forward

Bauchi State Governor Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed today participated at the North East Zonal Youth Summit of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) at Multipurpose Indoor Sports Hall Bauchi.

Speaking during the summit, Governor Bala welcomed participants and urged them to come up with a good recommendations that will move forward the party.

The Governor supported youth participation in politics to enable them contribute to the advancement of democracy in Nigeria.

He said the PDP administration, Nigeria has witnessed progresses and it has provided supports and opportunities to young people.

Governor Bala took time to brief the participants on the achievements recorded by his administration in the areas of education, health, youth and women empowerment among others.

Earlier, the National Youth Leader of the PDP, Udeh Okoye said PDP is the only political party in Nigeria that recognises the importance of youth in governance.

The Chairman of the organizing committee, Umar Babangida Maina said the youth summit was organised to intimate participants on PDP manifesto and on how to actively participate in governance.
