PDP to engage more youth contestants in the 2023 election

Malam Mohammed-Kadade Suleman, National Youth leader, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) said the party would unveil additional incentives to further encourage youth engagements in 2023 electioneering processes towards promoting youths inclusiveness in governance.

The National Youth Leader made this known during an interaction with newsmen in Zaria on Friday.

Suleman said he was part of the team that champions the decision of the national leadership to slash the fee to be paid by youths for nomination and expression of interest forms to partake in the 2023 electioneering process by half.

He noted that the decision of the party was to leverage on the teaming youth population towards winning the 2023 general election.

He said that other plans were on the way to ensure that the youths that were aspiring for different offices were supported to succeed.

The national youth leader, therefore, implore the youth to vote the PDP at all levels during the 2023 general election towards addressing several challenges affecting the youth in Nigeria.

He also advised the youth to be law abiding in the cause of forthcoming primaries scheduled to hold in this month.

Suleman, who lamented over the lingering crises between the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and Federal Government, urged the government to expedite action to find a lasting solution to the challenge.
