The National Chairman of the people’s Democratic party PDP Prince Uche Secondus has described Governor Bello Muhammed of Zamfara State as one of the best Governors the party has produced in the country.

The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Chief Uche Secondus who announced this when he led the National Working Committee members of the party on a courtesy visit to Governor Bello Matawalle stated that, the Governor is a great product from the party in terms of good governance, management of crisis, ensurance of peace and political unity among Nigerians.

He said, the party is proud of his vision and political direction towards ensuring development and creating avenue of political unity in Zamfara state and beyond.

Chief Uche Secondus assured Governor Bello Matawalle of the party’s leadership support and encouragement for the challenges ahead.

He said, the National Working Committee of the party will continue to support his efforts, and good work in bringing sanity and ensuring safety of lives and properties in the state, through the peace initiative embarked upon by his Administration.

He condoled the Government and people of the state over the killings of some aides of the Emir of Kaura Namoda along Zaria-Funtua road recently, and other innocent citizens who lost their lives as a result of Armed Banditry in the state.

Responding, Governor Bello Mohammed expressed gratitude and appreciation to the National Working Committee of PDP for the visit Which he described as an encouragement for him in the discharge of his official responsibility.

Governor Bello Matawalle explained that no amount of pressure or discouragement can deter him from doing everything humanly possible to salvage the people of the state from the menace of Banditry, kidnappings and other violent crimes.

The Governor noted with dismay that after sleepless nights he spent and working hard to ensure the rescue of Kankara school children, a spokesman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) accused him of aiding Banditry in the state and other states acroos the north west zone.

He said the peace accord he initiated was to ensure that peace and tranquility return to the state so that people of the state can sleep with their eyes closed.

While thanking them for the visit, the Governor said he will invite the National Working Committee members of the party for a visit to Zamfara state in order to see for themselves what his Administration is doing in the area of good Governance and security.

The visit was attended by all members of the National Working Committee of the party, members of the National Assembly from the state, former minister of finance and Honourary Adviser to the Governor Ambassador Bashir Yuguda Gusau, Honourable commissioners and other senior Government officials.
