Honourable Abdulrazak Nuhu Zaki, (Magajin Garin Ningi), the current Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in the administration of Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed in Bauchi State, is undoubtedly, a major player in the achievements recorded by Kaura’s government especially at the grassroots.

He is a staunch political appointee who passionately believes in the Kaura project and would readily promote these ideals with every contact. His prints are on the minds of many who have interfaced with him, and his name echoes in almost every political conversation on the streets about PDP and the Kaura government.

Honourable Nuhu Zaki, a grassroots politician, launched himself into active politics when he assumed the Councillorship position before becoming a Deputy Chairman and later an elected ChairmanWarji Local Government Area, his place of origin. Before his appointment as commissioner, he served in the House of Representatives as a member representing Ningi/Warji Federal Constituency. He was once the North Central Chairman of the PDP.

Looking at his political pedigree, the Warji-born politician would not be easily dismissed as a rookie in grassroots politics.

Apparently, Zaki was and is still a major player in ensuring that the administration of Kaura, Jagaban Katagum, succeeds in delivering dividends of democracy to the people. It is on record that he facilitated the construction of a number of access roads in different communities across the 20 local government areas of the state.

Indeed! All politics is local! For someone who is very well familiar with local politics, he championed the construction and rehabilitation of worship centres, district, and Emir’s palaces in the six Emirates. These gestures have brought goodwill to the administration and have earned it the highest respect, support, and solidarity of many citizens across the state.

Besides, Nuhu Zaki is one among all political appointees of the Governor who remains fully committed to traversing the nooks and crannies of the state to once again canvass support and votes for his principal ahead of the 2023 governorship election in the state.

He has been doing this with extraordinary vigour, style, and surging commitment. He never gets tired of braving the dangers of visiting hard-to-reach rural communities to interact with residents and convince them of why Governor Bala Mohammed deserves re-election.

Anyone who knows Zaki is definitely familiar with how much crowd he pulls around him. He is a man of the people, by the people, with people
and for people. This is his forte. He has distinguished himself in this area, and he is a force to reckoned with.

Needless to say, at the moment, Zaki’s unalloyed loyalty to Bala Mohammed has been manifesting in numerous ways beyond imagination. To him, nothing is next to the victory of his principal in the next gubernatorial elections. Indeed, Zaki is an asset to not only Kauran Bauchi but also PDP, Warji, and Bauchi State as a whole.

We will boldly say that Magajin Garin Ningi is a valuable pillar behind the successes of Governor Bala Mohammed’s led administration. Needless to say, Zaki is an appointee to emulate. He has made himself indispensable and an epitome of what is expected of political appointees. If many could sacrifice time, energy, and resources just like Zaki towards ensuring the victory of the governor, Jagaban Katagum’s re-election might just be a walk in the park.

The local government commissioner is local indeed!

By Usman Abdullahi Koli, ANIPR Muhammadu Buhari, former President of Nigeria, is no more. For a moment, I felt very shocked and touched. Not because I expected him to live forever, but because I had never truly imagined a Nigeria without him somewhere in the background watching, guiding, deciding, or simply being present. I asked […]
