Nigerian Speakers visits Kano palace, condoles Kano, Bichi Emirates on Mai Babban Daki’s demise

The Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria has condoled with their royal highnesses Emir of Kano Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero and that of Bichi Alhaji Nasiru Ado Bayero over the demise of their mother Hajiya Maryam Ado Bayero Mai Babban Daki.

Leading the delegation of the Speakers to Kano Emir’s Palace, the Chairman of the Conference Rt. Hon. Abubakar Y Suleiman described the deceased as pillar of the Royal family, Kano State and the country at large.

“On behalf of the staff and members Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria, I wish to convey the deepest sympathy to you and the entire Emirates over this great loss.

“We received the sad news with heavy heart but with total submission to the will of God. However we draw our consolation from the verse of the Holy Qur’an which says Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihir Rajiun, translated; ‘We belong to God and to Him we shall return’. He explained.

The Chairman prayed to Almighty God to grant Hajiya Jannatul Firdaus and give the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
