Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Bauchi Nab Suspects Who kidnapped and Strangled Five Year Old Girl To Death.

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Bauchi State have arrested a fifty two year old Kabiru Abdullhi and forty five year old Alhaji Yawale both in Toro Local Government Area for allegedly kidnapping and killing one five year old Khadija Abdullahi of the same area.

Parading the suspects before journalist on Monday, NSCDC commandant Bauchi State Nurudeen Abdullahi explained that the suspect strangled the victim to death.

“Preliminary investigation revealed that the prime suspect Kabiru Abdullahi kidnapped Khadija in front of her house, took her to a nearby bridge, strangled her neck and put her in a sack”, he said.
Abdullahi Nurudeen further said that the suspect contacted the father of the victim for a ransom for her release even though he has already killed the girl.

“He contacted the father of the victim Abdullahi Yusuf and demanded a ransom , after series of negotiations, it was agreed that the sum of #150,000 be paid for her release”, The NSCDC boss said.

Despite killing the victim, the commandant said that the agreed sum of one hundred and fifty thousand naira ransom was still collected by the second suspect Alhaji Yawale in the bush at Narabi village Toro.

Father of the victim Abdullahi Yusuf in tears narrated that he suffered to raise the ransom only to find his daughter dead.

In another development the commandant said they arrested one Isiya Lawal and one Musa Ado who attacked one Hamisu Halidu of Tilden Fulani with the intention of killing and carting away his motorcycle .
According to him, all arrested suspects will be handed over to the police for further investigation and prosecution.
