The people of Nasaru town in Ningi Local Government Area are now moving with ease, thanks to the newly completed four-kilometer township road constructed by the administration of Governor Bala Mohammed.
The road project was highlighted during the ongoing media tour of projects across the 20 local government areas of Bauchi State, led by the Commissioner for Information and Communication, Usman Shehu Usman, and the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Governor, Comrade Muktar Giɗaɗo.
Speaking to journalists, the Village Head of Nasaru, Malam Sa’idu Sarki, recalled the difficult experiences residents faced before the intervention.
He explained that the lack of accessible roads made transportation and daily activities extremely challenging for the community.
The traditional ruler added that with the completion of the road, movement has become easier and residents can now access markets, schools, and healthcare facilities without stress.
He described the project as life-changing and a clear demonstration of the government’s commitment to rural development.
Also sharing his views, a resident of Nasaru, Malam Abubakar Sadiq, said the project has greatly improved the living conditions of the people.
He noted that farmers can now transport their produce more efficiently, while businesses within the town are witnessing growth.
