NEDC Commends Dr. Adamu Sa’idu for Transforming Atapoly

The Management of Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic Bauchi, under the leadership of Dr Adamu Saidu has been commended for its giant efforts in bringing positive impacts to the polytechnic, geared towards promoting the Institution’s standard human development.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of a 5-day training workshop, organised by the polytechnic, in collaboration with the North East Development Commission NEDC, the coordinator of the NEDC’s, Borno State Office, Engr. Muhammad Umaru, said that the polytechnic has come to the limelight under the leadership of the present administration, adding that the achievements recorded so far, are visible to all to testify.

The coordinator, added that the Northeast was once an epicentre of insurgency in Nigeria, occasioned by the dreaded Boko Haram group, but now due to many interventions and efforts by the government and various organizations, the zone is one of peaceful areas to live in.

He, therefore, appreciated the effort of the Coordinator of the workshop, saying that his expertise to organize such an event is second to none, adding that the coordinator deserves accolades for promoting peace and unity in the society.

Also speaking at the workshop, the Coordinator, Dr Auwal Muhammad Sulaiman, says, the sole aim of the event was to bring together, security experts from all angles to enhance practices, and engage them on new methods of tackling security challenges in their respective areas.

The coordinator maintained that, as this will be the last edition of the program this year, he urged the participants to put into practice what they were taught during the exercise.

Dr Auwal thanked all those who supported the program from the first day to date.
