N18bn Tiamin farm takes up, lay the foundation of school in Bauchi state

Managing director Tiamin rice Alhaji Aminu Ahmed Zabi stated this when he pay a courtesy call on the district head of Udubo.

Aminu Ahmed Zabi said the farm when completed will employ over one thousand youth from Udubu town as a staff and will be train in moder farming by specialists from Bangladesh.

“He appreciate the warm reception accorded to him by people of Gamawa local government, noting that Udubu town and Zabi have long standing cordial relationship this inform him to recommend for the citing of farm in the area”.

The MD pointed out that the land is dully acquired through Bauchi state government after payment of N300m as compensation.

He therefore thanked the Governor of Bauchi state Bala Muhammed, Katagum emirate and District head of Udubu for the their support and assistance towards making the history making event.

In his remark district head of Udubu Alhaji Aminu Mohd Malami commended the MD Tiamin Rice for locating the gigantic project in Udubu town maintained that the community and entire people of the state will no doubt to benefit from the Tiamin farm Udubu.

The district head called on the people to embrace modernity which is happening on daily basis and admonished the benefiting community to take the ownership of the farm for the overall development of area.

While layin the foundation of two blocks of six class room at Begu Village of Gamawa local government, Bauchi state governor Bala Muhammed who was represented by senior special assistance on empowerment Khalid Barau said Tiamin rice as part of it corporate social responsibility during Covit-19 donated over four thousand bags of rice to Bauchi state government to cushion the effect of Corona virus.

Khalid Barau applauded the effort of Alhaji Aminu Ahmed Zabi saying over two thousand peoples who are to be employ and construction of two blocks of class and vetenary clinic will directly improve the sociology economic development of the people of the area.

In their separate remarks member representing Udubu constituency at the Bauchi state house of assembly, Umar Yakubu Udubu and chairman gamawa local government Alhaji Babayo Ahmed thanked Aminu Ahmed Zabi for his giant strike in establishing Tiamin farm Udubu.

“Today is the happiest day in Udubu which cannot be easy to be forgotten, and the project came at a time when we are the elected as leaders “.

The Tiamin farm Udubu is the largest modern farm in Nigeria with ten thousand hectares and is projected to produce 120,000 tons rice per annum and and other farm produce like maize
