My administration will improve living standard of Bauchi citizens and residents – says Governor Bala as he applauds FG’s NG-CARES

Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has reiterated his administration’s commitment to improving the living standard of all citizens and residents of Bauchi State in addition to introducing policies aimed at upgrading the economic growth of the state for a better society.

Bala Mohammed made this known today while interacting with members of the Federal Technical Committee on NG-CARES programme who paid him a courtesy visit at the Bauchi Government House where he commended the Federal Government and the World Bank for coming up with the NG-CARES which according to him, livelihoods of the beneficiaries will be improved through.

He described the programme as timely looking at the negative effects of COVID-19 pandemic on economic growth and development.

While assuring his administration’s support for effective implementation of the programme, Mohammed directed members of Bauchi implementation committee to live up to expectations saying that more programmes aimed at improving the living conditions will soon be embarked.

Earlier, the Team Leader, Mrs Chioma Achilian said the Federal Technical Committee’s visit to Bauchi would discuss with stakeholders for proper implementation of the programme.

Achilian appreciated the leadership style of Governor Bala and commended him for taking the state to next level for the betterment of his people.
