The Clerk of the Bauchi State House of Assembly Umar Yusuf Gital Esq has commended workers in Bauchi State House of Assembly and the State at large for their commitment, sacrifice and dedication toward development of the State.

In a felicitation message to all workers of the state on the commemoration of this year’s international workers day, the Clerk says workers in the State play crucial role in enhancing the economy, provision of essential services, growth and development of the State as well as the welfare and wellbeing of the people.

Gital also commended the tenacity and resilience of the workers despite so many challenges bedevilling the State and the country at large.

“During the covid-19 pandemic and the economic turmoil that ravaged our state, country and the world, workers remain unperturbed in their service to humanity. They worked tirelessly to deliver their mandates at their various duty posts to make sure we are out of the woods.”

“These sacrifices will never be in vain as the reward will come to workers in different colours, here and hereafter.” He said.

The Clerk expressed satisfaction on the revolutionary policies of the present administration under the leaders of His Excellency Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammad toward sanitizing the state workforce and provision of conducive atmosphere of service to the State civil servants.

He called on the workers to rally behind the Governor so as to solve the long existing problems in the State civil service which hinder the smooth running of government businesses and welfare of workers.

On the ongoing strike by the Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria (PASAN), Umar Yusuf Gital Esq. who concurs with the demands of the workers, urged them to employ other means of solving issues on the implementation of financial autonomy to states legislature and judiciary other than industrial action which put government businesses to a halt.
