The Bauchi state chairman of Miyetti Allah cattle breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), Comrade Sadiq Ibrahim Ahmad has appealed to the newly elected Country Chairman of Tabital Fulako International, former Bauchi state governor, Mallam Isa Yuguda to carry everybody along for the sustenance of his leadership.

Comrade Sadiq who made the appeal while speaking to newsmen in Bauchi yesterday, said the recent election of Isa Yuguda as Country Chairman of Tabital Fulako International is a welcome development to the entire Fulani and people of Nigeria.

The state MACBAN boss described Isa Yuguda as a peacekeeper who transformed Bauchi state and called on him to do the same in this new leadership dimension for the betterment of herders in the country.

Comrade Sadiq who doubles as Chairman of Amalgamated forum of Fulbe communities in the state, also enjoined members of the Association to accord Mal. Yuguda maximum support and co- operation to enable him to succeed.

While speaking on the current national issues, Comrade Sadiq Ibrahim Ahmad expressed dismay over illegal killing and arresting of herders in the country.

The MACBAN leader, while describing the act as jungle justice which is contrary to the rule of law, appealed to the leaders to work towards bringing an end to the menace.

The chairman of amalgamated forum of Fulani called on the federal government to revive the cattle routes across the country for the restoration of peace and stability, urging Bauchi state Governor, Bala Mohammed to revive the cattle routes as promised earlier.

The MACBAN boss who expressed dissatisfaction over the habit of some people who have encroached on the cattle routes, called on them to desist from such acts for the sustenance of peace and stability in the state.

While expressing worry over insecurity in the country, Comrade Sadiq called for concerted efforts from both the rulers and the ruled to ensure proper arrangements and full implementation of transparent policies and programmes that would guarantee peace and stability in the country
