Khadi Liman sworn in as New Acting Grand Khadi in Bauchi

Bauchi State Governor Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed today presided over the swearing in ceremony of the newly appointed Acting Grand Khadi Umar Ahmed Liman.

At the ceremony held at the Council Chamber, Government House Bauchi, Governor Bala congratulated the new Grand Khadi and called on him to make difference in managing the Sharia system.

The Governor called on the Khadi to consider justice and equity as his watchword to justify the confidence reposed in him.

He charged him to discharge his duties diligently and to the best of his ability in accordance with the Nigeria’s Constitution.

Governor Bala called on him to ensure proper implementation of Sharia justice to reduce social vices and criminal activities especially rape, kidnapping.

Governor Bala promised to pledged to continue to support judiciary to operate effectively and commended the State Chief Judge for ensuring due process and justice in the appointment of judges and Khadis.

The swearing in ceremony had in attendance, Chief Judge, Honorable Justice Rabi Talatu Umar, Chief of Staff, Government House, Dr Ladan Salihu, former judges, Khadis among others.
