KEEP: Governor Bala distributes items worth 150 Million to Misau/Dambam youths

Bauchi State Governor Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed today flagged of the Kaura Economic Empowerment Programme (KEEP) in Damban and Misau Local Government Areas of the state.

The Governor said 150 million naira has been budgeted to empower youth and women in the two local government areas adding that critical stakeholders are part of beneficiaries.
Governor Bala added that, the KEEP will keep the objectives designed to address unemployment and indolence among women and youth.

According to the Governor, there is need for the beneficiaries to make good use of the items to boost their economic status, saying that his administration will continue to explore means of poverty alleviation for economic development of Bauchi State.

Also speaking, Bauchi State First Lady, Hajiya Aisha Bala Mohammed congratulated the beneficiaries and charged them to utilize the opportunity for self reliant.

On his part, Bauchi State PDP Chairman, Hamza Koshe Akuyam applauded the Bauchi Governor for the gesture and pledged to continue to remain supportive for the success of the administration.
