Kebbi Governor pledges more efforts to sustain Economic Diversification

Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State has pledged to sustain economic diversification through agricultural production and industrialization in line with the policy of incumbent regime of President Muhammadu Buhari.

He reaffirmed this during Iftar Ramadan Breakfast hosted in honour of the State Caretaker Chairman of APC and other Party Executives at the Government House this Tuesday.

Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu was happy about the success recorded in the economic development of the state as testified by several industries and factories springing up in the state on agricultural processing such as rice mills and tomato processing plant.

The Governor told his guests that training was ongoing for the ten thousand people of the state approved by him towards accessing loan for entrepreneurship and agriculture by NIRSAL and CBN.

Furthermore, the CBN has approved the cultivation of forty thousand hectares of cassava plantation in seven local government areas in addition to existing ones in three local governments.

He commended members of the APC for their support to his administration which facilitated speedy societal progress pledging to deliver more dividends of democracy.

The Governor urged Nigerians to sustain support to presidential initiative for making the country great among comity of nations requesting all and sundry to continue to pray for peace and security.

In a remarks, the State Caretaker Committee Chairman of APC who led other party officials Arc. Bala Sani Kangiwa expressed satisfaction about the performance of incumbent administration of Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu in the task of governance and affirmed their loyalty to the government.

Arc. Bala Sani Kangiwa thanked the Governor for securing an appointment of seven persons into federal tertiary institutions, federal polytechnics and colleges of education of which the Chairman has been appointed Chairman of Governing Board Federal Polytechnic, Bali Taraba State.

On behalf of all party members he expressed immense thanks to the Governor for hosting them to Ramadan Breakfast and prayed Allah to reward him abundantly.
