Kebbi Governor bags invaluable award from NASRDA as ‘ Space Ambassador

The National Space Research Development Agency (NASRDA) has conferred its most prestigious highiest merit award ‘ Space Ambassador ‘ on Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, Chairman Progressives Governors’ Forum this Thursday, 2nd of December, 2021 in Abuja.

The award according to the Agency, is a life time award that exists even after expiration of his tenure as the Chief executive of Kebbi State.

The conferment of the award by NASRDA on Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu was in recognition of his good leadership qualities and support to space program.

It is also worthy to mention that Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu is the first Governor in Nigeria to have ever received and decorated with the honor.

The National Space Research and Development Agency is the national space agency of Nigeria. It is a parastatal under Federal Ministry of Science and Technology. The headquarters of the agency is based in the Nigerian capital city of Abuja .
