While briefing the Deputy Governor on the procurement and installation of water pumps and other facilities at the booster station and reservoirs, the Commissioner for water resources Alh Musa Adamu Funtua said the project was initially awarded at the cost N559,003,753.95k but was later reviewed to N636,597,415 due to the rising cost of the equipment.

While expressing satisfaction on the quality of work being carried out, Alhaji Mannir Yakubu charged the contractor to ensure that the installation all outstanding aspects of the contract, especially the installation of pumping machines at Rafindadi and the one along Dutsinma road are completed as scheduled.
