Jos Versity Awards Doctorate Degree to Emir of Zazzau

THE Senate and Governing Council of University of Jos has approved the award of Honourary Doctorate Degree of Laws, Honoris Causa to its Chancellor and Emir of Zazzau, His Highness Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, CFR.

According to the Letter of Award presented to His Highness by the University Vice Chancellor, Professor Ishaya Tanko while leading Management team of the University on a courtesy visit in his Palace, indicated that award will be made immediately after His Highness investiture as Chancellor of the University during the 33rd/34th Convocation Ceremony scheduled for May 13, 2023.

Professor Tanko also disclosed that the Senate and Governing Council of the University deem it fit to award His Highness with the Honorary Degree after carefully studying his profile, experience, dynamism, integrity and identifying with his wide range network.

You may recall that His Highness the Emir of Zazzau is also the Chancellor of Capital City University, Kano and Greenfield University, Kaduna.
