The Managing Director, Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Engr. Ahmed Umar Farouk, FNSE, MCOREN, NPOM, (Danmajen Gwandu, Gamjin Kabi) is the perfect description of a selfless and detribalized leader.

The Kebbi-born brilliant and workaholic engineer has, since assuming office as the Managing Director of NAMA, championed the reform of the agency through various initiatives.

One thing that puts Engineer Gwandu ahead of his peers is his love for people, irrespective of their religion, tribe, economic status, and where they come from.

The MD has demonstrated his love for people and commitment to supporting people by providing job opportunities to deserving Nigerians.

Fortunately, my friend Abdullahi Aminu Garba, an indigene of Gombe State, happens to be a beneficiary of the MD’s kind gesture, as he offered him a permanent and pensionable appointment at the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency, NAMA.

One may wonder how Abdullahi, an indigene of Gombe State, got an appointment courtesy of someone from Kebbi State, who is not a politician.

Normally, it is politicians who secure appointments for people not even from their constituency.

But Engineer Gwandu, despite not being a politician, extended his benevolence beyond his state.

This, among other kind gestures of the MD, makes him a shining example among Chief Executive Officers of Ministries, Departments, and Agencies.

No doubt, the appointment offered to my friend by the committed, diligent, patriotic, and workaholic NAMA MD is worthy of commendation.

This singular act will remain evergreen in our memory, and we will continue to applaud him for that.

Danmajen Gwandu, Gamjin Kabi, is indeed a visionary and patriotic leader whose love for humanity can’t be overemphasized.

On behalf of all Abdullahi’s friends, I want to use this medium to sincerely thank the NAMA MD, Engr. Ahmed Umar Farouk, FNSE, MCOREN, NPOM, for securing an appointment for our friend. We can’t thank him enough for this kindness, but we will continue praying for his success always.

We want to assure the MD that our friend will never disappoint him and will use the opportunity given to him to add value to NAMA.

We pray to Almighty Allah to protect Engr. Ahmed Umar Farouk and continue to guide him in discharging his affairs effectively.

Amin.

Once again, thank you for being a game-changer in the life of our friend, Abdullahi Aminu Garba.
