JIBWIS leadership visit kebbi State Governor

A delegation led by the National Chairman and leader of Jama’atu Izalatil Bid”ah Wa”iqamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS), Shiek Bala Lau paid a courtesy call on Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu at Government House Birnin Kebbi.

According to the leader of the delegation, they were at Government House to appreciate the governor for peace and progress in the state and thanked the governor for the receipt of Fifty Million Naira (N50,000,000.00) donation from the State as contribution towards the establishment of As-Salam Global University Hadejiya, Jigawa State.

In addition, he informed the Governor of the resolution of the crisis in the Kebbi State leadership of the movement and presented the new leadership of the State.

In his response, the Kebbi State Governor , Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu thanked the delegation for the visit as well as appreciating JIBWIS for the unwaivering support to President Muhammadu Buhari and the Government, including that of Kebbi State. The Governor also thanked the leaders for their prayers and support . He informed them that 30 students and one teacher of FGC Birnin Yauri were incidentally in the Government House and requested for prayers to them .

Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu led Shiek Bala Lau and other leaders of Izala to the Banquet Hall, Government House where they offered special prayers for the released students and the teacher of Federal Government College, Birnin Yauri.

The Izala leader after interacting with the released students and teacher appreciated the State Government for the efforts towards the rescue of the students.

Sheikh Bala Lau was sincerely thankful and full of praises to Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu for redeeming his pledge of fifty million naira donated at the launching of an appeal fund for Al-Qalam University, Hadeija.

The Izala leader advocated periodic consultative fora between Governors and religious leaders to deliberate and find solutions to challenges on security, economy, governance and politics.

Among those on his entourage was the National Secretary of the Izala Movement, Sheikh Muhammad Kabiru Haruna Gombe.
