INSECURITY: NEDC, ATAP Bauchi trains private security companies in Jalingo

The Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic (ATAP, Bauchi) in collaboration with North East Development Commission (NEDC) held a 5 day Training Workshop of Registered Private Security Agents and Personnel of Volunteer Security Groups on Combating Insecurity in the North East of Nigeria in Jalingo, Taraba state

The aim of the Workshop is to bring together security practitioners from all private security commands/sectors to develop practices, and equip them with the skills they require in tackling/ addressing violent extremism and terrorism in the society.

The coodinator of the training, Dr. Muhammad Auwal Sulaiman, who spoke through phone call, said that, the Polytechnic under the leadership of Dr. Alh, Adamu Sa’idu has achieved a lot in many areas.

Dr. Auwal, who acknowledged the transformation the Polytechnic is witnessing under the leadership of Dr. Adamu Sa’idu, enjoined him not to relent in uplifting the standard of the Institution, for the benefit of all.

Mal. Bashir Hamman Joda who is the coodinator NEDC Taraba state, thanked the Rector for his tireless effort towards upgrading the Polytechnic in all aspects of human endeavours.

According to him, the Rector deserves accolades for his relentless effort towards developing the Institution, urging other heads of various institutions in the zone and beyond to emulate him.

Similar exercise held at Bauchi, Gombe and Adamawa states, and before the end of the year, the same program would take place in Yobe and Borno states.
