INSECURITY: Governor Bala assures support to Vigilante Group for a crime free society

Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed said his administration will continue to provide all necessary supports to the Vigilante Group of Nigeria as part of its efforts to addressing the security challenges in the State.

Governor Bala was speaking when the Commander General of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria paid him a courtesy visit in the company of members of his entourage.

According to Governor Bala his administration will continue to provide all necessary supports to the group hence the need to maintain the good relationship with the other security agencies in the state for maintenance of peace and security of lives and properties of citizens of the state.

Earlier speaking, the Commander General of VGN Muhammad Usman Jahun expressed gratitude to the governor for his immense contributions to the group.

Jahun therefore called on the the State Government to assist them with operational vehicles and uniform sets adding that their assignment can only be successfully discharged with support of the general public.
