Bauchi State Governor Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has said that his administration will work assisidiously to raise the GDP of the state through providing good leadership for sustainable development.
The Governor made this known when he hosted officials and participants of the Animal Science Association of Nigeria and the Nigeria Institute of Animal Science on a State Dinner held at the new Banquet Hall, Government House, Bauchi.
Bala Mohammed said Bauchi under his watch is ready for business and solicited for collaboration and partnership with the two bodies in order to reduce over dependence on federation allocation.
He declared the interest of his administration to seek professional services of the Animal Science professionals in order to improve and modernize livestock production in the State for economic development.
The Governor appreciated the visitors for their support to the state government particularly in the area of agricultural development and called on investors to invest in Bauchi as his administration will protect their investment.
Speakers at the dinner expressed gratitude to Governor Bala for hosting them on the dinner, describing it as a highest honour to them and appreciated his efforts in providing qualitative leadership for greater Bauchi State.
