HISBAH Trains 200 People on skills acquisition

In it’s efforts to reduce the level of youths idleness in Sabon Gari Local Government area of Kaduna State, the HISBAH Committee has trained 200 people on different skills.

Speaking during the Skills Acquisition Graduation ceremony held at Local Government Secreteriat at Dogarawa, the Division Commander Abubakar Auwal Adam said, the training is aimed at reducing the crime rate in the community as well to support government efforts in creating self sustained society.

Auwal Adam said, HISBAH Committee decided to include skills acquisition training in their activities because of its importance.

The Division Commander added that the training has now give them the insight to do more in ensuring the sustainability of the programme.

He said, the participants were drawn from all segment of the community and security agencies as well the religious.and traditional leaders.

Malam Abubakar Auwal Adam expressed appreciation for the support and cooperation the HISBAH Committee is receiving from the Council Chairman Engr. Muhammad Usman which he donated 70 pieces of uniform for members.

He called on members of the Public particularly the well to do in the community to join hand with their Committee towards achieving the aims and objectives of establishing the Skills Acquisition Centre owned by the Committee.

On the successes recorded, the Chairman said a lots have been achieved such as settling marriages, neighborhood crises among oto.

The graduands have demonstrated what they learn within 6 weeks of extensive training on Shoe making, Bags and Costometics.
