A Workshop on Digital Reporting for Journalists in Northern Nigeria has kick started with the Theme “Setting The Digital Reporting Agenda For A Digital Nigeria”

The workshop was organized for journalists from northern states including Kano, Kaduna, katsina, Zamfara,Bauchi, Gombe, Adamawa and others.

While addressing Newssmen before commencing the workshop,Mohammad Dahiru Lawal,convener Arewa Agenda said
“The main aim of this workshop is because we want our Journalists from all over the north to come together and see how they can shift narrative towards creating the needed awareness for our people in the north to understand how they can tape into numerous resources that we have a bond in the ministry of Communications and Digital Economy.

Most of our people in the north are lagging behind becouse they don’t know how to tape these opportunities and utilize them properly. So we are hoping that by the time we initiate this strategic communication we will be able to create the needed awareness and go back to our various community to make the use of it.” He said.

The programme was organized by Arewa Agenda and supported by PR Nigeria, National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), The Penlight Center and Techdigest. Held today 6th,2021 at Conference Hall, PRNigeria Center, kano.
