Governor Bala signs 2023 Budget, 3 other bills

Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has signed into Law, the 2023 budget appropriation, VAPP Law and the Administration of Criminal Justice Act Law, today.

At the ceremony held at the Council Chambers, Government House, Bauchi Governor Bala commended the leadership of the Bauchi State House of Assembly the Honourable members for the timely passage of the 2023 budget, saying the State Government will ensure its timely implementation.

On the VAPP and Administration of Criminal Justice Act bills, Mohammed called on the Judiciary and security agencies to ensure total compliance in the implementation of the bills which will enhance among others, speedy dispensation of justice.

Earlier, the Speaker, BAHA, Rt. Hon. Abubakar Y. Sulaiman said the timely passage of the bills will assist the State Government in the implementation of the laws for the progress and development of the state.
